Individual Therapy

I use the therapy space to help my clients build lives that feel like their own - lives filled with meaning, richness, and connection. To do so, I primarily practice Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, an evidence-based therapy designed to help people connect with their most deeply-held personal values. A core part of this work is helping clients know their own experience more intimately so that they can pursue what matters to them in a whole-hearted way.

The individuals who I tend to see:

  • Experience depression or anxiety (e.g. GAD, OCD, specific phobia) and accompanying symptoms that prevent them from living a more free and full life

  • Struggle with avoidance and other maladaptive coping strategies, often in the context of anxiety. I specialize in exposure therapy for anxiety, among other evidence-based therapy strategies designed to target avoidance

  • Feel a sense of disconnect in their lives (e.g., from their emotions, their values) and a longing to live in a more aligned way
